Newsboy Crashes Movies
Harold “Sandy” Colvin, 14 year old Albuquerque, New Mexico, newsboy, has arrived in Hollywood to cahs in on his popularity with the movie barons. For several years, “Sandy” has sold papers to film folk at the Santa Fe station in Albuquerque, and he probably knows more screen stars and executives than any other boy in America. Edwin Carewe (right) the producer-director, took a liking to the lad and brought him to the movie capital. Carewe has given the boy a long-term job, starting as office and page-boy, and eventually he expects to make a director out of the former newsboy.
